02ABOUT THE WORK
An ancient mythic figure reimagined through contemporary form. Coiling, symmetrical and layered structures bring the figure and its surroundings into a single composition.
Yan Di belongs to the sculptural vocabulary of Lu Renjie’s Shan Hai Jing practice. The figure also informs object and design studies at different scales.
