Zouyu · Rings and Jewellery
The Zouyu series translates a creature from classical tradition into wearable objects including rings, pendants and earrings. Bright silver surfaces contrast with dark recessed motifs, turning the cultural image of a white tiger with dark markings into details that can be viewed closely.
The series uses totems and script-like forms reworked by Lu Renjie from classical sources and his system of sculptural forms; they are not direct copies of a single ancient script. Rings carry these motifs through bands, creature heads and geometric structures, with different designs sharing one visual language. This page presents the design work and existing pieces; crowdfunding, production and delivery status remain subject to official announcements.
