Myth takes the form of an everyday object. The Wen Yao inspires a vessel silhouette, extending the Shan Hai Jing series into the realm of functional design.
Objects offer another scale for Lu Renjie’s sculptural language. This vessel brings mythic imagination into a form shaped by function as well as appearance.
