41ABOUT THE WORK
A dragon shaped by the course of the Yangtze River spans a 12.8-metre canvas. Geography and intangible cultural heritage form an unfolding visual narrative.
At 2.6 metres high, the painting uses a satellite-map composition to evoke eleven provincial-level regions along the Yangtze. A field of 1,800 cells is devoted to intangible cultural heritage.
