Liulin Church Glass Window
At Li Yikao’s invitation, Lu Renjie designed the glass window for Liulin Church. The sun, constellations, orbital paths and planets form the image, while coloured glass brings natural light into the building and changes with the light.
In the artist’s portfolio, the central sun symbolizes God, while the surrounding constellations, orbits and planets represent natural life. A new graphic arrangement of the rose window brings imagery, transmitted colour and architecture into dialogue.
